I found love.
As one who never thought
it as mine,
This gift I will cherish
and hold dear
as it may leave like
winter’s speech fog.

Her smile, like cracked coconut,
milky crescent moon and caramel,
perfectly warm as the sunshine
after the flood.

All colors find home on her skin.
Her shade rendering them
gratefully luminous.

Her long, thick almond hair,
makes sunset behind her
seem like a pretty shadow.

The sway of her being
as she floats above ground
makes rhythm tangible.

When she speaks,
my heart makes music
and my ears twitch down to
my hungry belly.
I am always famished around her
and she always fills me.

Dark eyes that pierce,
tenderly carving my soul.
With utterance that douse tepid
honey deep into my wounds.

Her bosom delivers my
mind melted in calm
as my head generously lays.

It’s unspeakable, the radiance
of an angel. I let these
feeble words attempt while
they fall to the ground,
at the mercy of her splendor.
