The most talked about reality show in Nigeria, Big brother naija has finally come to an end. After 72 intense days with 26 housemates, the sixth season came to end on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

Although, a lot of people, including myself, agreed it was quite boring compared to other seasons, yet this season still had a number of highlights that won’t be forgotten. To mention a few: Nini’s disappearance and Saga’s reaction to that; Saga exposing Big brother’s prank to Nini; Pere’s reign as Head of House; Jackie B and Michael’s Saturday night problems; Yousef on the dance floor; The fights in the house…and other events. They were all very memorable.

Hazel Oyeze Ozue, popularly known as Whitemoney ,emerged as the winner of the show. He won the show with the largest fan base among the other housemates, with his personality winning the hearts of people across Africa. He made it to top 6 with Liquorose, Pere, Emmanuel, Angel and Cross. While Liquorose and Pere were the 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively, Whitemoney won the show. As the winner, he won 90 million worth of prizes which include; a 30 million cash prize, a two-bedroom apartment, a trip for two to Dubai, a brand new Innoson SUV and other nice gifts. The show was majorly sponsored by Abeg and Patricia, the headline and associate sponsors respectively.

In conclusion, without a doubt Nigerians will miss seeing the housemates on their screens. While Nigerians anticipate the reunion show, they also look forward to seeing what’s next for the ex-housemates and maybe, some drags.
