Alexander Brown Hall variety night started on a high note at the Paul Hendricks Lecture Theatre albeit starting very late. Music was bubbling and provided by the one and only DJ sexcy who killed his set the entire night.

The main attraction of the night was provided by the face of ABH competition contested keenly by three students: Atinuke Adeniran and Esther Okoro of the Physiotherapy Department; and Clara of the Biomedical Lab Sciences Department. The three ladies first dazzled the crowd with their choreography and casual wears. They showcased their talents in different ways from dancing to singing to spoken words!!!! Their fourth appearance of the night gave us an education in Nigerian culture. Gorgeous dresses were showcased during the final appearance with the three ladies battling it out intellectually answering questions ranging from world peace to sexism. The winner who was crowned by the former face of ABH, Catherine Umahi was none other than Adeniran Atinuke, a 300 Level student who is the definition of beauty and legs and of course, brains.

Another highlight of the event is the talent hunt competition won by Chidera – a 500 level student of Medicine & Surgery department, who enticed the crowd with her renditions of Never Enough by Loren allred and Greatest Love of all by Whitney Houston. Miss Opemipo Akinola danced her heart out to Mi Gente and other songs. Chinedu also dazzled the crowd with his deep voice and beautiful rendition of Never Enough also.

The much awaited Zanku competition had two winners; Ope and Malik. Music Performances by upcoming artistes T-classic, Sultan and Dance performances by Dance factor and Alien nation to name a few warmed up the crowd at the needed times.
