TARZAN STAR PRESUMED DEAD IN PLANE CRASH
Joe Lara, Hollywood actor and hero of the popular adventure film ‘Tarzan: The Epic Adventures,’ is presumed dead in a plane crash which occurred on Saturday, 29 May, 2021. When the private airplane crashed into a lake this weekend, the 58-year-old was on board with his wife, Gwen Shamblin Lara, and a few friends.
The actor, whose real name is William Joseph Lara, starred in Tarzan in Manhattan, a 1989 television film, before returning the role in Tarzan: The Epic Adventures, a follow-up television series. In 2002, he left acting to pursue a career in country music.
