Following his departure from Manchester City, Sergio Aguero has completed a transfer to Barcelona, according to the Spanish club.
Aguero, 32, joined Ronald Koeman’s side on a deal until the end of the 2022-23 season after his contract with Manchester City expired at the end of the season. On Monday evening, the club president Joan Laporta will present the Argentine striker at the Nou Camp, and he will join the team on July 1.
He’ll be given a €100 million release clause.
During City’s 1-0 Champions League final loss to Chelsea in Porto on Saturday, Aguero made his farewell appearance for the club as a substitute.
