The US presidential election is still more than a year away, however, the race to be the democrat challenger to Donald Trump is ready well under way.
The group features the usual balance of senators, members of congress, however, there is a record number of women, a gay mayor and a spiritual counsellor.
The front runner for the race at this time is Joe Biden, former Vice President in the Barrack Obama administration and former Delaware Senator who sought the nomination in 1988, 2008 [declined to run in 2016 after the death of his son]. Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Senator Kamala Harris and 21 others also have their hats in the ring. The election is scheduled to hold Tuesday 3rd November, 2020.
