UCH, IBADAN- In the light of UIMSA health week, the association is set to launch the eighth edition of her annual magazine, MedScion. An entirely student-based publication, the eighth edition of the magazine has been titled “Nirvana”, set to be launched tomorrow, August 11.
Speaking with the Editor-In-Chief who doubles as the Public Relations Officer of the Association, Mr. Boluwatife Aderounmu, the eight edition is set to overhaul previously published editions, giving a face-lift for future publications to follow.
Nirvana, coined from the Sanskrit nirvāṇa to mean “a state or place of great happiness and peace” is said to be different from previous editions, focusing on the theme ” Health Insurance and Financing”, as well as incorporating different articles from writers from different medical schools in the country.
The event will hold by 10am tomorrow at the B. O Osuntokun Hall together with the Osuntokun Inter-level Quiz Competition.
