ABH LEAGUE: SKIPPO FC DEMOLISH SHEGZY FC IN 6-GOAL THRILLER
The drama with which the previous game week of the ABH league ended definitely had no negative effect on today’s fixtures as the matchday started with Skippo FC going head to head against Shegzy FC.
Skippo FC has started off the league in incredible form winning two games out of their previous three and scoring the most goals in the competition. Shegzy FC on the other hand seems to just be finding their feet in the league and coming against Skippo FC at this point was a must-win.
With Skippo FC losing to D’Inferno last weekend, Shegzy FC came into the match with high hopes seeing that the Skippo defense can be Infiltrated. But this was short-lived a Skippo took the lead for Skippo FC in the early minutes of the game.
Omoola doubled the lead just before the end of the first half making problems worse for Shegzy FC. Players of Shegzy FC struggled with ball control and could not get a shot on target at the end of the first half.
The second half started as eventful as the first with Shegzy FC pulling one back through Odogwu. The intensity of the game increased with Shegzy FC earnestly looking for an equalizer and Skippo FC charging for more goals.
Goals from Skippo, Austin, and Basit extended the goal tally to 5 for Skippo FC. With the 5-1 win against Shegzy FC, Skippo FC moves up to second with 9 points, just one point behind Stampede FC.
Other matches for the day had Stampede play against Avalanche in an even more intense game and Blazers against D’Inferno.
