After the horrors of “The Red Wedding” and the dragon burning down the “Great wall” for the army of the dead to advance on, things could not get any more epic and thrilling for GOT lovers all over.
But in the early hours of yesterday in Aberdeen, Scotland; Co-stars of the show: Kit Harrington, 31 (Jon Snow) and Rose Eleanor Arbuthnot-Leslie, 31 (Ygritte) tied the knot officially as husband and wife. The ceremony which took place at the Rayne Church saw several co-stars in attendance, including Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner.
The Co-stars sweethearts met in 2012, on the set of the HBO epic series; where Kit played the role of fans’ sweetheart- Jon Snow and Leslie portrayed Ygritte, a fierce warrior and Jon Snow’s woman until she was killed off in the fourth season.
Leslie left the cast in 2014 and currently stars in US legal drama The Good Fight, according to the ABO website. The actors, since 2012 have been dating but had managed to evade the spotlights successfully until 2016 when they came out publicly to announce their love at the Olivier Awards in London.
The reception was held at the bride’s castle in Aberdeen – Wardhill Castle owned by the bride’s family.
