The first edition of ABH Fit for this tenure held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the ABH volleyball Court.
ABH Fit, over the years, has been an avenue for Brownites to come together and engage in bodily exercises in order to help them remain physically fit. It was first organised two years ago, during the tenure of Kolapo Olugboyega. The exercise is to hold every first Saturday of the month.
The event, which was organised by the office of the Deputy Hall Chairperson, started at about 6:45am and ended by 9am. It included activities such as jogging, mountain climbing and stretching exercises to help build specific groups of muscles like the biceps, triceps etc.
The event had in attendance members of the Hall Executive Council, the Speaker of the Hall Assembly among other Brownites.
Mr. Folajomi Isa, the Hall Chairman, commended the turnout of Brownites for the event, comparing it to previous editions. He said “ABH Fit which held yesterday at the ABH Volleyball Court was a colourful one as there was massive turnout unlike the previous ones”. He however encouraged Brownites to turn out more and participate actively in the event.
The Deputy Hall Chairperson, Akinola Onaopemipo, who chaired the Organizing Committee praised the event and said that it was full of fun and worth giving time to.
She also encouraged Brownites to be more Involved in events such as this.
