OJEWALE RIDWAN CLINCHES BEST FINALIST AS JAW WAR 2018 DRAWS CURTAIN

Having won on all 6 appearances in the largest public speaking event in the University of Ibadan, Ojewale Ridwan, a Brownite and final year student of Medical Laboratory Sciences has clinched the award for the best finalist in the competition for two stunning appearances this year including helping overturn a 9-point deficit against Kuti Hall alongside Akinluyi Toluwalase.
Meanwhile, the Faculty of Law will continue their search for a Jaw War trophy as they lost out to the Faculty of Education in the finals today, 7th November. The acclaimed Faculty of Public Speaking presented the duo of Alufa Temijuopelo and Adesokan Adediran, who clinched the prize for the second best speaker for the day.
Ayeni Otito-Jesu, dazzling in his fifth speech of the competition clinched the best speaker for the day and also walked home with the prize for the most outstanding speaker in the competition.
The Noble Men from Sultan Bello Hall finally broke the jinx after three straight final losses, beating arch-rival Lord Tedder Hall in the process.

Elizabeth Nwarueze – Best Single Speech and best punchline
Best use of humour- Ogunjimi Johnson
Adeleke Taiwo – Rookie of the Year
