A new sharwarma joint, Sweet Mother, has opened in Alexander Brown Hall, raising the number of sharwarma joints in ABH to three. The new joint opened in the hall last week Thursday. The new outlet is said to be the second of the Sweet Mother food chain while the first outlet is at Platinum lounge, Ibadan.
The move to ABH according to the manager of the joint, Emmanuel Maxwell, was borne out of the need to bring their delicious sharwarma closer to the people especially Brownites. ”The high demand for our meal also contributed to us opening a second outlet”, said Maxwell.
Prior to the arrival of the new joint, there have been 2 sharwarma joints in ABH, Linkin kitchen and Spicy Bites which still operate. At Spicy Bites, the price goes for #800 for Brownites and #1000 for outsiders; in Linkin kitchen, single sausage goes for #800 while double goes for #1000; while at Sweet Mother, it goes for #1000. According to some Brownites who have had a taste of the new sharwarma, they commended it as palatable.
