Social media sensation and self-acclaimed bureau de change CEO, Ismaila Mustapha, popularly known as Mompha is out on bail. On the 18th of October 2019, Mompha was arrested by EFCC operatives for allegedly involving in internet-related fraud and money laundering. He was charged to court for fraud amounting to 32.9 billion naira, which he pleaded not guilty to.
On Monday, he regained his freedom from the prison after perfecting the bail conditions of 100 million naira handed to him by a Lagos High Court. He shared videos on Instagram wearing a shirt with #FREEDOM inscribed on it confirming his release. Mompha however deleted all his Instagram posts leaving his 683k followers in utmost surprise. We don’t know if he will still keep on displaying his flamboyant lifestyle bit we will be on the look out.
