The recent Mayweather and Logan boxing match left most of the fans disappointed. Most fans felt they did not get their money’s worth from the game.
Floyd Mayweather is a 44-year-old retired professional boxer with a perfect 50 wins from 50 fights. On the other hand, Logan Paul is a young American YouTuber and professional boxer. The end of the match brought boos from the audience since it seemed they paid to watch a friendly sparring match between the two.
After the match, Mayweather said, “I had fun. I am not 21 anymore, He’s a great, young fighter better than I thought he was. He’s a tough raw competitor. I was surprised by him tonight.” Although Mayweather could have ended the fight with a win, he seemed to have given the audience what he thought they wanted.
However, the audience did not appreciate the gesture. Mayweather then thanked his fans, “I want to thank all the fans who came out, I want to thank the fans who bought pay per view.”
Logan, on the other hand, seemed to be relieved with the outcome. “It’s one of the greatest moments of my life. I’m happy to have made it out,” he said.
The unexpected outcome of the match was Paul landing 28 of his 217 punches and Mayweather connecting 43 of his 107. The match however ended with no winner announced since there were no judges.
