It might need some getting used to but the newly appointed Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola had expressed that his knowledge of his new ministry is restricted to what he reads in the newspaper.
He expressed this on his visit to the ministry after his inauguration by the President in Wednesday.
“My relationship with the ministry is distant. What I know about the ministry is what I read in the newspapers,” he admitted.
The minister thereafter directed the Permanent Secretary, Barr. Georgina Ehuriah, who had been heading the ministry since the last cabinet was dissolved to keep in charge till he he comes to take over on Monday.
