Hungarian GP: Lewis Hamilton extends world title lead with ‘beautiful’ win
-By ONYEKACHI OSONDU
Are you surprised that Lewis Hamilton has won another race? Well I’m not. He’s been in outstanding form this Formula One season and things could only get better for him after his outstanding win in the German Grand prix that saw him come from 14th on the grid to take victory in the most unlikely of circumstances.
This week was no different as he took full advantage of his pole position to claim his sixth career victory on the Hungarian grand prix circuit and his second straight victory in as many weeks. Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel took second place ahead of his teammate Kimi Raikkonen who took the last available place on the podium.
The win would see Hamilton go into the Formula One’s summer break with a season high 24-point advantage in the title race over his arch rival Sebastian Vettel after winning the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday.
