FCR, ABH – Alexander Brown Hall Female Affairs ministry held a free digital skill training on Saturday, August 25. The program was designed to improve digital skills in order to participate fully in the modern society. These skills are needed to improve businesses and careers.
The program was held at the Famewo common room. The digital skill training was held by Ibukun Adegbulugbe who gave a presentation. More than 80 people attended the program as the hall was quite full.
Highlights of the program and presentation was on how to use Google for business listings and adverts, also how to open a website on google business, how to create social media pages according to peculiarity. The speaker for the program also gave out links for free online courses on Google for digital skill training and data management applications.
Another highlight was the closing speech given by the Female Affairs minister, Damilola who shared her experiences on digital skill training and how other opportunities are also available in the outside world. As promised by the Female Affairs ministry, refreshments were given out to the first sixty people to get to the program.
According to brownites who graced the events , it was an interesting and educative one. They also applauded the ministry for coming up with an event like that. The speaker was also appreciated for Keeping his presentation precise and short. When talking to the Female Affairs minister after the event, she assured brownites to anticipate more skill acquisitions programs to come. She was also grateful that the program started and ended well.
