EMMY AWARDS 2022 WINNERS
The 74th primetime Emmy Awards show was held on the 12th of September, 2022. The Emmys is considered one of the four major annual American entertainment awards, along with the Grammys, the Oscar and the Tony. The event was one with its highs and lows. One of the highs being Lee Jung Jae’s record breaking win. The Squid game actor was the first foreign-language actor to bag the Outstanding leading actor in a drama award with the Netflix series, taking home six Emmys. Jimmy Kimmel lying on the stage while Quinta Brunson took her winning speech was considered a really low move by viewers. The event was however, a beautiful, star-studded one where we once again got to see our favourite stars, series and movies take home one or more well-deserved awards.
