Just when we thought that loosing April and Arizona would take a downturn on the medical drama series, “Grey’s Anatomy”, Shondaland has decided to take it up a notch!
As the 15th season of ABC’s Grey Anatomy finally gathers momentum, Shondaland has made efforts to secure Nashville star Chris Carmack for a recurring role.
Carmack, is set to play the role of an orthopaedic surgeon who comes to work at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, and is known as the “Ortho God”. This followed two months after Kim Raver confirmed her reprising role in the upcoming season, as Dr Teddy Altman. While fans may yet mourn the exit of series veterans, Sarah Drew (who played April) and Jessica Capshaw (who played Arizona); Grey’s Anatomy may yet be heading for another budding love story for our dear Ellen Pompeo.
Fans have not yet erased the memory of Meredith and DeLuca sharing a warm kiss at Karev and Joe’s wedding, while Meredith was trying to pull the drunken DeLuca from an embarassing moment. Could this be a sign? Is Meredith finally giving an answer to her daughter, Zola’s question?
I certainly won’t mind a Carmack and Pompeo in season 15.
