ALL HAIL KING JAMES

There has been plenty excitement in basketball circles around the king LeBron Raymone James going strong for his seventeenth season (you read that right). Since his debut in the NBA in 2003 (where he easily put up 25 points setting the record for most points scored by a prep to pro player in his debut performance) this alien has been a madness, bagging three NBA championships, four NBA Most Valuable Player Awards, three NBA Finals MVP Awards, and two Olympic gold medals. James has appeared in fifteen NBA All-Star Games and been named NBA All-Star MVP three times. A perfect combination of a muscular 6’8” frame with unmatched athletic prowess, elite passing, impossible to stop scoring ability and the greatest basketball IQ the game most probably has ever seen, then you make a god.
As with the hype, LeBron has also endured insufferable criticism and doubts, it’s almost like the persistent question at the back of the media mind is when will this machine stop? Albeit, he looks in excellent shape to wade of the doubts if the pre-season game against the golden state warriors is any pointer. With the addition of a supporting superstar cast in person of Anthony Davis, JaVale McGee, Avery Bradley TO MENTION A NOTABLE FEW the Lakers look poised to win another championship led by the king.
